The Business English Writing Course will improve your ability
to communicate effectively and efficiently in the written medium. The course
consists of several assignments that cover common business-related
topics. Students are guided toward proper word usage, grammar, etiquette and
style based on the themes and goals of the various assignments.
The process is simple. Your instructor will email you an assignment once every
week. You should complete the assignment, giving it your best effort,
and return it to the instructor via email.
Each assignment you submit will go through a complete revision process. The
instructor will point out your mistakes and help you learn to correct them
on your own, and guide you on how to avoid them in the future. Every
week, you will schedule a telephone lesson with your instructor.
During the half-hour telephone lesson, your instructor will review the
corrected assignment with you, give you individualized grammar instruction,
and focus you on clear, concise writing. Soon you will acquire the
necessary knowledge, skills and strategies to be an effective writer of
Business English.
